Business Management
I often wonder, why the process of delegation is never adopted in Indian families.
Is it the reason that the large joint families broke into smaller nuclear portions?
Delegation takes place when one person gives another the right to perform work on his behalf and his name and the second person accepts the duty or obligation to do what is needed of him.
In several Indian families, culture has it; that the head of the family, usually the oldest, should have supreme powers and very little delegation happens in the actual sense of the word.

Awaaz do

Role of development finance
With increasing integration b/w different segments of financial markets facilitated by liberalization, the conduct of monetary and credit policy has become critical for the efficient functioning of the financial system.
Recent years have witnessed a blurring of the traditional distinction between banks and financial institutions. The financial savings and households hold by these institutions are long term liabilities which can be converted into long term assets.

Happy Independence Day
Pathetic is a word, that can truly describe the experience of this particular train journey. Yet it felt so Indian.
The fan of the general class compartment is not working. There are too many people in the train than it can accommodate. Most of them seem to be without ticket. Many people, who are in groups have not got a ticket for at least one person, usually a child. I have been in this train several times now, and am sure that the Travel Ticket Examiner shall never come to inspect our tickets.
I have a reserved seat for me, but the trick is to locate the seat, which is virtually impossible, for the bogeys of the train have not been marked. In some trains of Indian railways, they mark it with chalk, which gets rub off very soon. In this case, even that effort seemed to have not been made.
More than 60 years have passed since the English, exited the Indian Railways and India. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi played an important role in it. He himself seemed to have been inspired after being insulted in a train in South Africa.
Hundreds of years hence, the same discrimination prevails. Now,we discriminate against ourselves, our own countrymen, our own caste and creed. We have encouraged things to stagnate, systems to rot and our country to decay.
My train journey in humid conditions, without a fan, intoxicated with human odor, filled with visits in between with beggars, blind beggars, eunuch beggars, very small children beggars, handicapped beggars is a testimony to the fact.

New disease from Women Empowerment.
Centuries ago, a very good practice of dowry was criminalized, as grooms and their families turned greedy for money.
Then one fine day, we in India get an anti-dowry act.
Meant to protect girls from greed, but the girls are finding it intensely difficult these days to digest mere protection. Empowerment is turning out to be cry of supreme power. Hence, these girls are falsely implicating their mother in laws, father in laws and their husbands.
Just for the heck of it.
As I delve deeper into research, I realize that girls in India simply don't deserve empowerment. Even the supreme court of India has described such practices of women as Legal Terrorism.
In Uttar Pradesh, one of the biggest States of India, ten percent of all jail inmates are suffering from women empowerment. The daughter in law of the house, sent all family members to jail. And now, we have so many such women, sending so many members to jail.
One man, committed a heinous crime against his wife, by asking her to reduce her personal expenses. He is now languishing in jail, accused under Prevention of Dowry act.
Another one had a terminally ill mother and since the case was registered against both of them, the man, a school teacher committed suicide. The harassment from his wife and her parents was too much for him.
I had a chance of meeting an activist, based in Punjab who is fighting for such men. The malaise it seems is in every nook and corner of the country. Lust for money and power are driving women insane. You do as your wife beckons or another option is a police complaint filed against you.
I tried to comprehend all the cases which I had heard from before and compared them with the cases told to me by the activist. I turn to my own quest. To find the result and conclusion of such cases.
In most cases, it is money that cures the lust of power that the woman wants. You settle an amount with her family, usually her mother or brother and things can settle down.
A majority of people have no legal experience from before. The only crime they have ever committed is to marry their son. They fight endless legal battles, lose all their money, spend some time in jail etc. Harassment continues on and on, until of course, the girl get tired and then again, money seals an agreement.
A small population of men, act brave, kill themselves, and try to end at least their own personal misery, if not of their family.
In any way, for pride and ego of a single woman, lakhs of families across India are facing extinction of sorts.
Is it justified? Have we given too much power to women?

I shall Defend Suresh Kalmadi
Now, I may be a staunch Anti - Congressman, this is one issue, where I support the INC, Mr. Kalmadi, and the Delhi Government. They did nothing wrong in looting the coffers of the government, inflating bills and awarding contracts to dubious people at high rates for very poor quality.
True, I agree, it was the Sheila Dikshit government that was responsible for construction of Stadium. But it is the people of Delhi, who should bear the blame of death of 42 construction workers at work. The stadiums are not even complete yet, the work done is shoddy, so where was the engineering aptitude of Delhi citizens to have let so many people die, when so many workers have not even died in building huge skyscrapers that dot the NCR landscape?
Mr. Kalmadi is a loyal congressman, and has all the rights to indulge in corruption.
JMM Bribery Scandal
Bofors Case
and so many such corruption cases are never taken to conclusion. Then why does the Indian population not allow him to get something for himself? When the people of India have always supported corrupt people to survive, then why boast of morality today?
If Delhi University students have no place to stay because DDA and the Central govt could not complete construction of accommodation of delegates, it is not the Congress but people of India, who are to be blamed. It is the public who granted them power in 2009. All 7 Lok Sabha seats of the Delhi region went to Congress. Hence, people have put there rubber stamp and seal on corruption.
So now, today, no one has the right to raise hue and cry. We all should laud the disgust that we are witnessing in the form of CWG. The Pride of India. People of Pune have always supported their favorite Mr. Kalmadi, who is the Lok Sabha representative of the region.
Whatever he stands for today, he is the product of the people of Pune.
No one, said anything when they voted for Sheila Dikshit for 3rd term as the Chief Minister of Delhi. Now they are crying for dug up roads and huge corruption relating to games contracts.
No one in India, ever objected, when one by one every sports body was heavily Congressized. Instead, as the power of Congress started to dilute in 70's, people from other political parties started to follow the tradition as well. Now, people of India, as shameless they are, are blaming the politicians for ruining sports in India.
The media, who has always been pro- congress, has suddenly gone into frenzy, exposing corruption in CWG. As if, all the bungling of funds happened in the past 10 days. What were they doing all this time, when the actual corruption was happening. Now, that they need TRPs, they are showing you the leaking roofs. They, who never ever cover any other sport than cricket, are now becoming champions of I don't know what.
So, stop being cynical towards Suresh Kalmadi or Sheila Dikshit. They are your representatives. Time and again, you have elected and voted for them. Owe up the responsibility.
