On 5th April, 2009, went to Gurudwara Manji Sahib, Alamgir. Wanted to go their for a long time now. The whole trip was nice. The weather was quite good. Saw wheat, all ripe and golden, set to be cultivated and taken to mandis.

Perhaps, I have never ever mentioned of this trip before on any of my blogs. It gives me a great solemn feeling to visit new places, know more about religiosity and significant religious places. Such places not only talk of history and grandeur but also of resilience and what can be termed as test of times. Although it is a sorry state of affairs that almost all of religious shrines are so very united and akin today in one single aspect. Corruption. In politer terms I can say, almost each religious place of history and repute I have visited till now, there is a clear picture of mismanagement of funds that the devotees with all their hearts offer to their Gods.
Intellectually also bankruptcy and confusion prevails. Sad. But true.
Only thing to be optimistic is, that each religion, directly or indirectly tells us about miracles that may happen.
So Amen to that !!!
