Writing for difficult topics

Every writer has a specific preference of topic or genre, for which he/she can write very well. Also, a writer knows about the topics for which he/she is not at all comfortable with.

One of the broadest genres, for which several writers feel uncomfortable, is also a genre which spins up a lot of money. I am talking of adult articles, mostly which are good paying blogs. At several sites I see ads for writing blogs for adult sites, which are extremely voluminous in nature. And have lucrative pays too. I was wondering just yesterday that how can one single writer write 500 erotic blogs per month. (I came across an ad for the same, where a person was looking for a writer).

This also reminds of a conversation, with a prospective client, to whom I asked (as we all do, in our first or second conversations) about the topics we would need to cover. "Don't worry, we wont give you adult topics", he said, and I was like, oh, ok.

And so, today's website which I am going to inform you all is
of Adult Content Writers, who are a bunch of people, specializing in this genre of writing.

I personally feel, that their is nothing so immoral in writing such stuff, like some writers claim. Yes, I will not like to take it up, for the same reason I wont like to write a piece of technology. That is that I don't like/enjoy the topic.

A writer friend suggests that I should place up my own pic somewhere here on this blog. I am not much game for it, but definatley would like to here your opinions on it.

The professionalism and Non - professionalism in the writing world

If you ask me what is the biggest issue plaguing the website content writing industry today, the answer would be disorganization or simply put very very unorganized and unprofessional industry.
Now you may wonder, in the field where hundreds of articles are churned out of humans each day, who for a few dollars go on war with unrealistic deadlines and a lot of quality instructions, how come things be unorganized and unprofessional?
The answer to this, can be found in the question itself. Several people who are into this field, h ave had no prior experience of writing. Some have never even done writing, ever. A tout culture flourishes, with people who have only negotiating and business acumen, getting into something, which I consider a very very high level of art.
Then the thing about deadlines. Has anyone ever cared that what goes onto the writer to write so fast, and on similar topics. A degree of exhaustion happens, which is only cured by instant money. In hurry, a lot many times, mistakes happen, which are then seen as part of misconduct and unprofessional-ism on the part of the writer.
Then comes the issue of pricing. The worst aspect of all. In any form of art, a person should be paid according to his/her talent. Here in the web content writing space, market forces of demand and supply set the rate for writers. Many writers I have seen are overpaid and some very well talented are underpaid, for simple reasons of economics. A writer's wage is more dependent on negotiations and bargains than on his/her talent and acumen to write.
And I feel bad about this whole process. And moreover, thier is no alternative scheme I can think of for this process.

Frauds and Scams that have had happened, where people made quick bucks by selling articles of writers and paying them nothing for it. This is has caused a large amount of insecurity in minds of the writing populace, and has hampered the client - clientele relationships. Everyone here looks into the eye of the another with loads of suspicion.

Article Checker - checking the plagiarism

Rule number one of content writing, anyone from the field will tell you is:-
that we go to write unique content. Copy paste from anywhere is a big No.

Now, it is my personal belief that in few years time, we would have a million plus articles on the same articles, and it will never be possible for our articles to pass the various plagiarism checkers. Because we have hundreds of tips, five pointers, ten pointers on each and every topic possible, on this planet.

Anyway, that will happen, when it happens.

Plagiarism Checker is a useful for start up writers, who are just fresh into the writing world.
Some seasoned professionals use it too, but it is not very reliable according to me. As it is, free of cost plagiarism checkers are not much dependable, but this one looks quite outdated to me.

A peaceful Easy Feeling

Hey folks,

First let me explain the title of this post. This one picked up from, Meetu's Reflections, a blog, maintained by a writer colleague. A must check out for all of you out there.

You know, it is interesting to note that, most of the professional writers you will meet, have had tried their hands on blogging, personal blogging that is, and almost all of them got so busy with their writing work, that the personal blog, got deleted, dumped, or discarded. Many of those blogs, now roam around as ghost blogs in the blogosphere. You can see my own blogs, Jagruti, Footsteps, Food, all are deprived of my own writings, for I am occupied in my work.

So today, reading this title of Meetu Ma'am's blog, A peaceful easy feeling, I think, is this not bad, that we are writers, we write content for websites, brochures and all. But we don't have time for our blogs, which are our own babies, our own creations. And does this not mean that we dont have for personal things now, that we are so busy in profession that we don't have time for self?

Hey readers,
You know what? How much ever a writer wishes to stay from blogging, and go for proffesional kinda writing jobs, their is always a craving, to come back, write what you feel like writing, and not just on subjects for which you are paid to write. Of course, we love our work, enjoy it.

So, I am writing after a long time here, been busy with so many projects lined up (they still are...), and am going to now write on content writing, which a writer friend says is an oversaturated market. According to me, lakhs of words from India alone, are written and sent across the world, to be featured on all kinds of websites.

If you see on the surface, the content writing system has become like a huge manufacturing unit. Writers are churning out words on their machines (computers) and in several cases, I find no spark or passion to write. Some are here for money, some are accidental entrants like me, some need any sort of work they can do. Some are college students, anticipating some decent pocket money.

Whatever be the case, the field of content writing is abuzz with overactivity and it is an exciting place to be in. In the coming days, I am going to take you all for a ride into this industry and the dynamics of it.

This sad plight of our national news channels is really worth pondering .

A one hour show on Shah Rukh Khan being molested in the USA, Rakhi Sawant swayamvar being telecast of national news channel , Prince a small boy from Kurukshetra trapped in a hole , these are just a few stories presented on our national news channels . This sad plight of our national news channels is really worth pondering .

Is it the dearth of news or just a publicity stunt to promote the TRPs. News channels stoop to new lows with each passing day. Theses days they ll telecast anything and everything but news. They hate to present news but instead take pride in interviewing a publicity hungry star(actor).News of film star marrying somebody , teasing somebody, or worse still the color of his underwear is being shown to the citizens. As it is the entertainment channels are full of crap that whenever an individual wants to escape from them , news channels welcomes them by one foolish act of one form or another.

Media has always been sighted as a reason for our working democracy and the print media still remains a potent force but one cant say the same about the 24 hour news channels .India gives the Right to Speech to everyone of its citizens .We don’t follow any kind of censorships(except for deleting the explicit content ) .Anybody in India can write whatever he or she feels like . The government of the day can’t or prohibit him at least in principle. But it does not mean that we misuse the liberty that has been bestowed on us.

News Readers and his teammates must take responsibility as mature citizens to telecast the appropriate . The main aim of the news channels is to inform the citizens of what is happening in India and across the world .Who the hell is interested in watching a cribbing Saas Bahu serial on a news channel

Maybe they reason that they don’t have enough substance to telecast for 24 hours continuously, well in that case they might resort to some discretion and get off air until some news pops up or a more practical solution could be that each news channel be allotted a time slot .During this slot it is required to telecast the news and happenings of the world and India .In this way news channels get a fair share and the common man also gets respite from the bullshit items .by doing this news quality would improve and the media person would start respecting our democracy and our freedom of speech

But if these solutions are too harsh then they could resort to showing some meaningfull documentaries , inspiring stories of individuals who made it good despite the odds. in their free time Something meaningful , something inspiring is always welcome and it would also improve there much needed trps

Media has always been considered as a potent force .24 Hour channels should not be treated as a corporate business house where in the profit generation is the ultimate motive. It seems these channels get started up with political backing , but due to lack of news theses people start showing cows , buffaloes , anything which comes in front of the camera

Lets leave entertainment to Bollywood , Tollywood and Hollywood .and concentrate on presenting good news for once at least

Importance of Reading

Reading is a source of knowledge for some people and for others; it can be a leisure activity. It is important for anyone, from the beginning of life, till a person survives. Today’s world has many options like TV, Internet, multimedia etc. but there are still many people, who still adopt for reading, rather than watching everything visually or pictorially. Though, the passion among youngsters for this activity is descending, still they need to know requirement and necessity of reading and apt this means also to gain knowledge.
It is advisable to indulge in any form of reading you like, at least for half an hour per day. This should be done for the purpose of knowledge, new writing styles and vocabulary. It is observed that children and teenagers who are fond of reading have comparatively higher IQs. They are more imaginative and become more creative in school and college life. It is recommended that parents to encourage them by telling the importance of reading to their children, in the early period of their academics. Reading significantly helps in enhancing vocabulary and reading aloud helps to build a good sense of improving the speaking skills. The children who begin to develop reading habits from an early age are observed to have superior linguistic skills and they understand the range of phonics in a much better way.
Reading assists in encouraging psychological development of people and also stimulates the eye muscles. Reading is an activity, which contains higher levels of concentration and even adds to the conversational skills of an individual. It is actually an indulgence that constantly enhances the acquired knowledge. The habit of reading also helps readers to learn new words, phrases, quotations, which they come across in everyday conversations or even writings. The habit of reading a healthy addiction and adds to the information available on vast topics. It also helps us to stay in-touch with modern writers as well as those who made the writings a time ago and makes the readers aware about the global issues. A notorious yet pretty famous breed of youngsters of our nation have found a rather dangerous yet exciting style of expressingthemselves, or shall we say seeking attention of the world. Famous fortheir antics on two wheel rides have allowed this special group of people to gain the attention of mostly the youth of nation and ofcourse the Indian Police as well. Kids love them, girls find themhot, the police hates them and the parents have mixed opinion on theseadventure lurking petrol heads. As a matter of fact anyone foundperforming any such activity in a public place is liable to bepunished as stunt riding is considered a crime in our nation. Unlikemost of the foreign nations our country's law doesn't provide alicense to racers and stunt riders as there isn't really a place wherethey can show what skill they possess. Deprived of a race track ora stunting ground these passionate youngsters who find it extremelyhard to keep sitting at one place all the time hit public roads,preferably the ones with no or very less traffic, let the heat ormadness or what I call. The art come out and speak out forthem. When anyone sees a bike moving on one wheel... wow...orshould I say Oh teri ... is what comes out naturally.. But only astuntrider knows how it feels like when you are on top of your machinedoing something that others can't and seeing everyone look at himamazed and maybe applauding sometimes.... but it’s not just aboutcourage or crazyness. It requires some serious talent to accomplishsomething like a wheelie or a stoppie or a Christ or a marigo roundand the list can go on and on. But constant practice and dedication issomething that can help you in learning such skill. This is somethingthat should not always be criticized as it is done by most of themedia, the news channels or the newspapers. Road rash or bikergang or chain snatchers are the terms usually associated with agroup of stunt riders in our nation, while on the other hand most ofthe biker clubs these days promote safe riding, Use of protectiveriding gears and respecting traffic rules. But still this tag of badboys doesn’t seem to loosen its grip from the heads of these hardworking and passionate people or should I say petrol heads . But nomatter what, their passion goes on strengthening every day and everyday a new trick is invented, a new skill is learnt, a new woundoccurs, a new stunter is born!
